Dr. Vangie Ackridge
Educational Psychologist

Dr. Ackridge is an Educational Psychologist who graduated from Alliant International University in 2013. After being a psychologist in the schools for approximately 15 years, she has a handle on the challenges that children today are faced with. She has expertise in, psychological-educational assessment, special education law, specific learning disabilities, ADHD, mental illness (as it pertains to school functioning), alcohol/substance abuse, and other factors that impact teens.
Dr. Ackridge can address family and youth needs. Being a teenager can be hard and being a parent of a teenager can be challenging. Knowing that we all desire for children to be emotionally well adjusted and academically successful, it is sometimes necessary to seek support. Dr. Ackridge is available to support families through the journey of adolescence and can provide valuable information about children's learning abilities and emotional functioning to navigate the education system. Dr. Ackridge reaches families to let them know, that are not alone. She’s here to provide the support that families need when facing emotional challenges.
