Depending on the location where you get your vaccine, that will determine which COVID vaccine is available. There's really no discernible difference as far as efficacy goes with the Pfizer versus the Moderna COVID vaccines.

Currently, two vaccines are authorized and recommended by the CDC to prevent COVID-19:

• ​​​​Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine
• Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine

This question has come up before because the Pfizer vaccine requires more storage restrictions. If you want access to something else, it's fine, but you will have to seek out the location offering your vaccine of choice.
