How do I find out if I am eligible?
Vaccination eligibility is broken down into categories based on California's vaccine priority list. You need to know where you fall on that list so when your turn is up, you can book an appointment. The complete list can be found at www.coronavirus-sd.com.
Updates on who is eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine will be posted on the COVID-19 Vaccine page on https://coronavirus-sd.com/vaccine. Additionally, depending on which group you fall into, you may be notified by your healthcare provider.
Short Answer:
Search for an appointment on the County of San Diego County website. Here is a map of the current COVID vaccine locations.
Explanation:
The County has opened four vaccination super stations and operates 15 smaller community points of dispensing, or PODs. There will be more vaccination sites opening up throughout the County. That’s why County health officials are urging San Diegans to be patient and get vaccinated when it’s their turn.
Be persistent and patient.
