This week we are continuing to celebrate Women's History Month by highlighting Dr. Wilma J. Wooten and her recent video on common questions around the Covid vaccine. Lastly, find a San Diego County update on moving to Phase 1C of the vaccination distribution including those people ages 16-64 deemed to be at the very highest risk to get very sick from COVID-19.
Covid Vaccine Distribution County Update
Now on Phase 1C of the Vaccination process. Beginning March 15, vaccinations are available to those with certain health conditions, disabilities, illness, living spaces, or work environments that put them at higher risk for serious COVID-19 illness.

This week we honor Dr. Wilma J. Wooten, Public Health Officer and Director of Public Health Services in the County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency. She has been with the County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency since 2001 and she has a strong interest in health disparities and health equity.
