This week Multicultural Health Foundation is partnering with the San Diego Foundation to provide food and transportation services to those who are impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Also in this issue, the importance of anyone 16 and older getting vaccinated to protect themselves and their loved ones. Don't forget to submit your picture when you get vaccinated to join the vaccine club. You're invited to join us at the upcoming Community Health and Resource Fair: Wednesday, May 5th. Lastly, the Johnson and Johnson vaccine has been unpaused and being administered after California Department of Public Health gave the green light to do so over the weekend.

Why Vaccinate?
You are eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccination if you are 16 years of age or older and live or work in San Diego County.
The parameters for 16-17 year old's getting the vaccine: They must have parental consent. A parent must either make the appointment on-line and sign the consent or accompany the minor to a walk-up site and sign the consent on site. Pfzer is the only vaccine is available for 16-17 year old's.

San Diego County Resumes use of Johnson & Johnson Vaccine
The County is resuming vaccinations with the Johnson & Johnson vaccine after the California Department of Public Health gave the green light to do so over the weekend.
