Tips for Getting Tested During the Holidays

State Testing Sites
State-run testing sites do not require a referral from a doctor. All state-run testing sites will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. open on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. If you are unable to schedule online, call (888) 634-1123. Testing is free.

- Kimball Senior Center, 1221 D Ave, National City, CA 91950
- California Center for the Arts, Escondido Center Theater, 260 N. Escondido Blvd. Escondido CA 92025
- San Diego County Assessor Office, 200 S. Magnolia Avenue, El Cajon, CA 92020
- San Ysidro Civic Center, 212 West Park Ave. San Ysidro, CA 92173
County Testing Sites
County-run testing sites do not require a referral from a doctor. An appointment is not required at all County testing locations. The county recommends residents to first call their health care provider for a testing appointment. Those without or who could not secure an appointment through their health care provider can schedule a test online or by calling 211 and asking for the Nurse Triage Line. Testing is free
South Bay Testing Sites
- Aquatica San Diego, 2052 Entertainment Circle, Chula Vista, CA 91911 Drive-up testing will be held Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. No appointment is necessary. Closed 11/26
- Old Sears Building in Chula Vista, 565 Broadway, Chula Vista, CA 91910 Walk-in testing will be held Tuesday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Testing is available for individuals 2 months and over Closed 11/26
- South Chula Vista Library, 389 Orange Avenue, Chula Vista, CA 91911 Drive-up testing will be held Sunday through Thursday from 12:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. No appointment is necessary. Thursday 12/03 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- County Fire- Bonita Sunnyside Fire Department, 4900 Bonita Rd, Bonita, CA 91902 One day testing site: The days this testing site is available varies. Please check the county website here for more info on when testing will be available at this location.
- Mar Vista High School, 505 Elm Avenue, Imperial Beach, CA 91932 Drive-up testing will be held Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. No appointment is necessary.
- Kimball Senior Center, 1221 D Ave, National City, CA 91950 Walk-in testing is held Tuesday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Appointments available but not required. Testing is available for individuals 2 months and over. Closed 11/26
- St. Anthony of Padua Parking Lot, 410 W 18th Street, National City, CA 91950 Drive-up testing will be held on Sundays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Appointments are required
- San Ysidro Civic Center, 212 West Park Ave, San Ysidro, CA 92173 Walk-in testing will be held Tuesday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. No appointment necessary. Closed 11/26
- San Ysidro Port of Entry PedEast, 795 E. San Ysidro Blvd, San Ysidro, CA 92173 Walk-in testing will be held Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. No appointment is necessary. Closed 11/26
- Sports Park Recreation Center, 425 Imperial Beach Blvd, 91932 Walk-in testing will be held Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. No appointment is necessary. Closed 11/26
