For those living with seniors or disabled children: 

Yes, you can be prioritized to receive the COVID vaccine if you live with a senior or child with physical or neurological disabilities. Get a letter of support from the senior’s or the child’s doctor, making the recommendation for you (or the “informal caretaker”) to receive the COVID vaccine. The state of California is making this recommendation too.

For those living with healthcare workers: 

No. Healthcare workers should already be protected by wearing personal protective equipment (PPE). Data actually shows that many of the healthcare workers have less infectious rates than those who are not health care workers because they are wearing PPE. The current vaccination phases and tiers in place are to protect those who are at the highest risk. Rest assured, most of us will be getting vaccinated in the next several months, no matter who you are.
